PenFed is one of those conservative CU's which you can expect to wear diapers for at least the first 6 month's. They will limit your ACH tranfers, place long holds on payments (on the available credit portion, not payment credit), and in general they "take it slow" with all new relationships.
I guess they weren't like that a couple years ago, but have gone to a finer tooth comb in the past year.
I just past my 6 month mark and they are finally giving me immediate credit (available) on CC payments and transfers. So I'll now review my opinions of them and their services in this "post" newbie time for me.
