Don’t know if this has been posted. But I received the email that my PenFed Cash Rewards can now enroll in Purchase Alerts. Have only made one purchase online. The email worked. But there was no text.
I received this in the mail but hadn’t taken the time to read it. Thanks for sharing!

My pleasure! I’ve bemoaned th face that this was not offered on ththe card several times in the forums. Only fair that I post that it now does.

I haven’t received the email or see that option within the alerts section of my account online. Perhaps it’ll show up this upcoming week. Thanks for posting OP. I thought it was odd PenFed didn’t offer this.
HI Manonfire. Actually, the alerts come through the visa website and not through penfed. Even though the email took me to a penfed website, when I click on the link from the website, it takes you to the visa alerts website. I'm not sure if the link is allowed. I will post it and if it is not, the mods can remove it. Here it is: https://purchasealerts.visa.com/vca-web/login
If the mods don't allow it. Google purchasealerts.visa.com and it should come up. Apparently, as long as your issuer has registered their card as part of the program, you can register for visa alerts through the visa website. They ask if you want to check if your card is eligible. So this is not just for PenFed.
Also, I mentioned in my original message that I didn't get a text message - that is because I could not verify my telephone number, which is a google voice number. Apparently, the system doesn't like google voice.

That link is fine.
Now only if they'd participate in Zelle...
