I know that was years ago, but does it know about available statement credits? Special offers? Minimum spend requirements? Purchase protections?
(And I will suggest a thread merge to mods.)
I think those are two different things. What you are describing are the "What card should I use to purchase X at Y" services, and I agree that they may vary in quality (from something to something, depending on viewpoint!). The FinTech cards like this and Curve allow to redirect previous spend to a new cc, which can be useful in the case of a mistake, or to push a "too early" transaction to a new quarter for a rotator.
Correcting myself: I had missed that Percent does try to route to the best card. And if you can only redo transactions that are pending, that's a lot less interesting than Curve on that feature
Yeah, that's quite a bit less interesting to me as well.
Oddly, with Curve they make you wait until the transaction has posted (to Curve) before they'll let you move it to a different card.
Not a big deal, but one would think they'd prefer you to do any 'moving' before money was actually being passed around, but I guess not. 🤷♂️

If someone has a data point that this has changed I'm all ears (er, eyes).
Yes, that's been my experience of Curve too.
I find the $500 credit limit annoying, as I'd prefer there was no credit limit, and if a transaction is rejected by the underlying card, it is either rejected or shifted to another card.
Interestingly, Percents has no hard pull, and no data-points about it reporting to any credit bureaus (there's no credit limit on it, so no reason why it should).

Amex charge cards (Green, Gold, and Platinum) have no preset spending limit, and they still report.

Amex charge cards offer you credit though, Percents isnt giving you credit, they are just processing a transaction.
Does the Percents card offer any intro (or ongoing) benefit like additional CB? I think Curve offers an extra 1% for a limited time?

That's true. I wonder how they're making money then. Just on processing fees alone?
Putting it on a wait list seems to be the trendy way to ramp up interest in a new product. However, I just fid it annoying. There's no reason for something completely ephemeral like an app or financial service to be waitlisted.

There certainly can be! These things are going to hitting their servers/backends etc and it makes sense to do a constrained release first. Now if everyone on the waitlist gets off at the same time then yes, gimmick
I have the card and it works great for me, just really want that amex support.
It processes as a Visa Credit on reciepts i've gotten.

Agreed.
(Mod cut-such isnt allowed here on myFico thanks for your understanding) Note, it does need an iPhone, no android app right now.
