I believe discussing MS in detail is against the rules for these boards. MS is a gray area of CC use. Most CC issuers do not like it. Many will potentially close your accounts if they catch you doing it. It is not illegal (as in law enforcement involvement), but it is generally unaccepted by CC issuers and against the terms and conditions of most CC contracts.

The discussion of MS is allowed, it's advocating the usage which we discourage.
The 'perils of MS' is a great topic and LTL knew the chances he was taking- the posting of this thread should educate others who might consider or are heavy into MS'ing.
