Permanent Citi SP CLI Luv Button....

Logged into my account today and saw this message AGAIN:

"It's easy to finds out if you qualify for a CLI. A credit bureau report will not be requested and you will receive an instant decision."

Got a SP CLI request last week but thought "What the heck, I'll try again.."

System wasn't able to process (I'm guessing because I just got one) but this new verbiage seems promising. Keeping fingers crossed that this is now a permanent feature on my account.

Might be a glitch? Or its like some of the other sites where theres a pernament button where you can keep requesting but usually wont get the increase unless its been 6+ mos.

+1...gotta agree, i think Citi is real strict when it comes to the 6 months CLI time frame. It's interesting though, I have 4 cards with Citi at the moment, 3 of them are past 6 months of being opened but yet 1 one of the cards still states that it will require a HP to request a CLI. The other 2 are still SP eligible. I guess not all Citi cards are a guaranteed SP when they reach the 6 months.

Has to be 6 mo's, I have 3 Citi's, all 3 were approved, did my husbands card and it was denied due to only being 5 mo's since his last increases.

Agreed. I guess what I failed to highlight was that just a couple weeks ago the verbiage on my account was stating that a HP would be required. It has now moved over to SP verbiage. And I'm stoked if this is now permanent verbiage.

Yeah, I just noticed it a few weeks ago too, figured what the heck, and got 3 of 4 approved thru the SP.

Re: Permanent Citi SP CLI Luv Button....

Both my Citi accounts state that no report will be pulled.  I tried them both and both declined.  Probably because neither account is 6 months old yet.

Re: Permanent Citi SP CLI Luv Button....

This is great news! Although every six months would have been a soft pull anyways. Don't know if the verbiage actually changes anything, but is rather there permanently instead of only when eligible.
