Pier 1 card (Comenity) shutting down 10/30/2020

Probably not a huge surprise considering Pier 1 filed for bankruptcy. Finally received the word the card is shutting closing as of Oct.30, with no more charges allowed as of Aug.31.

I've had this card a little over 3 years (obtained through SCT) and it was helpful in my rebuild. Gonna miss the coupons and offers.

Not surprising at all! I'll miss Pier 1. Many a day I spent hours in the 5th Ave store in NYC. It was HUGE!!!
I think Comenity will be losing many cards. For various reasons, but many related to closure.

They had a lot of unique things. Some was crap, but some was just cool.

My first apt in NYC was a dump. 1.5 bedroom for like $2300. I was working and going to school. I think my roomie and I furnished it 90% from there.
