You'd likely have more luck app'ing for a secured card.

I hear BoA has a decent secured card.

It is no different than Amex's AF. You are paying a courtesy fee to have access to some of their benefits.

Yes, it does have an annual fee. That's the beauty of the card. The minute you get it, you are OTL and your util is about 800%. After you get the fee paid off, you'll have all of the buying power and prestige that the card will offer. I hear you get rewards on it too. For every 10 happy meals you buy, you get one free.

Wow. That is a good deal. I am considering getting it for the prestige alone.

Re: Please Recommned A CC

Save yourself the inquiry and I'll just send you one of mine. You can carry it around until you get tired of looking at it, then send it back and I'll send you a different one. In fact we ought to form a credit card of the month club where we each pick out a card and send it to another member. We keep that card for a month then send it to the next person on the list.

We wouldn't need to apply anymore because every month we would have a different card to look at.

We wouldn't need to call for CLIs or worry about CLDs since someone else would have the card anyway.

Life would be so much simpler, no new inquiries, no new accounts.
