Good catch by sabrewulf152. The Quicksilver is the only card in your current arsenal that doesn't have a foreign transaction fee. You may want to look for another.

Hi OP,
Wells Fargo Card is actually currently offering 5% CashBack at Costco so not entirely useless....
Really? Do I need to"activate" that or anything? How did I not know about this?
Cheers!

Everyone loves the better balance card from BOFA. $25 credit each quarter. $30 if you have a checking or savings account.
Chase and Discover don't normally have overlapping categories so personally I would keep the freedom, but if you think 1.5% on everything would benefit you more, then PC it. Which would make your quicksilver useless so PC to venture or wait and hope for the dining rewards card. As for wells fargo, i thought they came out with a newer one with better cashback rewards?

Hi all!
Currently, I have the following CASH BACK cards:
- Wells Fargo Cash back card - 1% back on everything
- BofA 1-2-3 card - 1% on everything, 2% on groceries, 3% on gas
- Chase Freedom - 5% on rotating categories
- Capital One Quicksilver - 1.5% back on everything
- American Express Blue Cash Preferred - 6% on groceries, 3% on gas and department stores, 1% On everything
Obviously I NEVER use the Wells Fargo card anymore, as the CL is laughable compared to the rest as well as only yielding 1% back.
You can also see that I have an overlapping category (gas - between my BofA and AmEx).. This is making me want to PC the BofA to something more useful.
I'm also thinking about PC'ing my Freedom to a Freedom unlimited (my wife has the discover card, so we don't need double 5% rotating categories).
If I PC to a Freedom unlimited, this will make my Quicksilver obsolete (wouldn't need (2) 1.5% cash back cards).
If my Quicksilver is obsolete, I'd want to PC that to something useful.
What do you guys recommend?
I don't want anymore hard pulls on my report, so I don't want to apply for any new cards, just want to PC and manipulate the cards I currently have.
Any and all ideas are welcome!
Cheers!
So the Freedom and Discover categories are not always the same. Right now Discover has Home Improvement and Wholesale Clubs. Freedom has Groceries and Drug Stores. Well worth keeping both. If you spend over $6000 on groceries in a year (or gift cards at a grocery store), then use the Freedom this quarter up to the $1500 cap.
Keep the Quicksilver for the no FTF and no AF, and you can hopefully PC it to the Premier Dining card later for 3% on dining.
Many find the BoA Better Balance Rewards card to be great. Pay more than the min balance due and get a $25 ($30 if going into BoA checking account) every quarter. Not sure if they PC to the BBR anymore though.
Will Wells Fargo let you PC to the Cash Wise card? Yes it is only 1.5% back, but it would make it easy to PC the Quicksilver to the PDR if Cap1 every allows it. And using a card gets you bigger limits. So it may help the card grow. And you can use either card interchangably until then without losing cashback while keeping the card open.
This is all I can offer for advice on the cards with regards to PC only options. Hope it may help.

@Anonymous I like your idea of PC'ing my BofA to the BBR. How exactly does that $30 per quarter work? I never keep a balance, I ALWAYS PIF. Will this not work with the BBR?
As for the Wells Fargo card, there is no way to PC it... Wells does not PC cards... Their version of a PC is allowing you to apply for another card and closing your current card without incurring a hard pull. But my Wells Fargo card is my oldest card, so I will not be closing it down. I just found out yesterday that you can request a CLI from Wells on a soft pull tho (I always thought it was a HP), so I'll continue to slowly grow that (hopefully).
I appreciate your response in advance!
Cheers!

You would do great with the BBR - here is how to earn the bonus:
1. Place a monthly recurring charge on the card - something large enough that the minimum payment will be less than the balance (like a utility bill)
2. Setup balance-in-full autopay
3. Profit
If I hadn't burned BOA in my BK, I'd be all over that card...but sadly it's not in the cards for me
Have fun!

@Anonymous thanks for the info! I'm really considering doing this... I'm just nervous that BofA will drop my CL with them once I stop spending a bunch with them (I still buy all my gas with the card).... My CL is $25,000, so if I'm only paying for one bill per month on it, they'll likely hit me with a CLD.
I'll cross that bridge when I get there.
Cheers!
