Is that a bad thing? And I like the offer of $200 cash back they have right now. I'm not 100% sure what I am looking for in a credit card. I looked at chase freedom and Amex.
It would be an good idea to figure out what kind of card you want first. IF its an rewards, cashback, charge card or what. Once you decide then we probably can help you better in deciding which card to get.
I would love to get cash back and rewards. I also would love to travel so getting points or something for miles would be ideal too because I'm a huge aspiring traveler.

if you are going to travel an freedom csp combo may be a good place to start. As far as requirements for csp i think there an bit stricter, so it may be an good idea to start off with freedom. Just bank the 20,000 points so you can combine with CSP down the road.

I completely forgot about the 20,000 points for chase freedom. That does sound like a good idea. To work my way up to a CSP card

Just dont immediately cash out 20000 points for the 200 dollars like i did , i am annoyed at myself for doing that lol. In my defense though i didn't know at the time i was going to apply for CSP down the road :-)

Thanks so much for the warning. If I get approved I won't cash it out right away.

goto chase credit card site, and click pre quali link. It will ask for your name, address, and last 4 of social. It should bring up freedom, slate, or csp if you qualify for any of them.
I find those things to be crap lol I did those before my app spree and none of them popped up saying i was qualified for a card but yet i got 2 Chase cards and 2 Citi cards
Just applied for Chase Freedom and got APPROVED!!!!!! $1,000 Credit Limit!
