It seems people believe they can add as much debt as they want and no lender is supposed to do anything about it. You said you have 40,000 at Chase, 19,000 at American Express and a new automotive loan for 70,000, which is over 100,000; not including any other balances you may have with any other cards. Scores don't matter when you're seen as a risk and your wife clearly was. When's the last time you received her score?

It's brilliant to see how appreciative you are. Someone tries to get you what you want, gets terminated, and all you can do is tell them to "fight the unemployment line"?
amex prg is paid in full monthly so i dont know where your going with that? we just pulled 86k out of our savings and paid our house off because at 5% intrest it was in our best interest to pay the house off and not sit on the money. I ordered alot of expensive items for our jeep build and wanted them on a credit card until they get delivered. there were no other balances reporting. last year my wife had 225k on her w2 and i paid myself 250k. All my employees make more then $20 dollars an hour. we always keep a rainy day fund for our buisness of 5m in the business savings account. Chase had no reason to freak at all. Their loss NFCU didnt hesitate in bringing our business and the rest of our personal back over to them...
edit: I pulled all of her scores here when i first saw the credit line reduction. her scores were between 813-830

Again, not to pry but if your incorporated why can't your wife have a position on the board? Also, if its incorporated why are they coming after your personal credit?
I'm so confused
She is my VP and COO on the board. thats what im trying to get across to everyone, just because she is not at the office everyday dosent mean she is not involved in our business. All chase business cards have a PG on them. I dont know what they saw that freaked them out, her credit is pretty quiet compared to any of us on this board. She could care less about credit. They went after the cards she was joint owner on. I just never got around to having her sign the ownership agreement for the JPM cards. They just wanted to lower their exposure limit on her for some reason. (its me they should be worried about!!! ) I dunno, I think the fact we own a FFL and they dont support guns is one of the main reason, thats why they canceled our merchant account in feb of this year

I totally agree with this statement the employee doesn't own the bank and is hardly a major voting shareholder thus can only go as far as his VP or EO allow.
But you're ok with him getting fired ......I'm sorry but that's just unacceptable in my eyes JMHO amd the wrong way to treat any person that has given you loyal service over the years (karma)

He did not uphold any kind of ethics, he could have called and said hey im working on this.... or hey they wont work with me but your JPM is okay.... or His manager could have called us back as he begged and promised he would. Lack of customer service and charging us pretty healthy fees I think he could have had some common curiosity

Since you're a business owner answer this
You tell one of your employees not to do something including have no contact and what would you expect that employee to do?
His hands are tied IMHO (middle man)
Ethics would have forced me to make a call on his or her behalf for the effort and service before this unfortunate thing happened with you but you think the lonely man at the bottom of the food chain possessed all the power.......Again WoW is this ethically moral?
I'm sorry and don't wish to offend but my dear sweet grandmother rest her soul always said " treat others as you would have them treat you" and this is just my opinion of a middle man probably with a family and possible no job tomorrow and you could care less
Your comforting words were unemployment line .......wow I'm done

That is the absolute worst thing that can ever be done. Our business has grown over 500% each year over the last 4 years and it has been growing because of the CUSTOMER SERVICE, my phone is always on no matter what time day or night. I treat all of my empoyees with respect. If we get in to a pickle and I need time to work something out a phone call or email from an employee saying "Mr. Smith the owner-mangaer------ is working on your problem still, I do not have any update for you but just wanted to let you know that we were still trying to resolve XYZ for you"
The branch manager begged us in front of 50+ people to give him till the next morning to call us back. We never heard a word back from him or anyone. If anyone of our employees did that to one of our customers they would be gone in a heart beat.
Perhaps you did not have enough "joint" cash accounts that satisfied the exposure of risk? My grandparents never have had any problems with JPM in Houston....My grandmother has never has worked 0 income, and that's not true JPM treasury management accounts have commercial cards with no PG. That was my first card!!! It was silver!
Also bewildered about the corporation set up.....just my opinion.
