I get everything from Citi to WaMu, and Citi again, and more WaMu, and did I mention another Citi preapproval?  And WaMu, too.

I do have two Amex magnets on my fridge, but they were addressed to DFiancee.

Ha!  Funny thing, when I got a preapproval from Shell, I got excited for a minute because I thought, "Hey, someone besides WaMu and Citi has finally noticed me!"  At least until I saw in small print on the back "Citibank South Dakota."  D'oh!

cheddar - You're making me jealous with all those nice banks sending you offers.  After getting a no from Wamu tonight, 7-10 not good msg from Hooters and a "we'll get back to you" msg from my CU I think I need to find a box to crawl into.   Ugh....I thought my credit was getting better but I still a rat.

Flyers it is not that your credit is not getting better, it is that it is not yet good enough. But it will continue to get better and soon you will get the approvals that you want.

Yes indeed! They're like the fake cardboard insert cards, but they're flat fridge magnets instead. I don't know what kind of app the Discover magnet came with, but the Amex magnets come with the apps that look like wedding invitations and say things like "You are cordially invited to..."
