Pre-Qualifications/Pre-Approvals question

I have around 8 months of credit history, I move to the US in June 2018, my current fico8 scores are - ex: 703, tu: 722, ex: 730 -- but I haven't gotten any pre-qualified/pre-approvals in the mail, nor when i check online.

Wanted to ask the good people here, what's your opinion on when i should start seeing offers wher I'm pre-qualified/pre-approved?

Thanks!

Re: Pre-Qualifications/Pre-Approvals question

I'd say a year mark. I remember about 9 months since my first CC wich was Cap One Platinum, Citi approved me for unsecured one.

Always check at least once a month Smiley Happy

Re: Pre-Qualifications/Pre-Approvals question

Congrats on having an EXCELLENT score. Our score here in the United States or I must say the average is 675. So you are above our national average.

Pre-Screened/Approvaled/Invited offers do not mean anything until they run the hard pull on you're credit, and see if you meet their guidelines.

I would head over to the Credit Card Applications, and ask questions on what cards interest you. What benefit you are looking for out of the card, and what bank it is with obviously.
