No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
So I log into my Credit One account today and see this button on the left side. I know they aren't the best, but they did give me the card soon after my BK so they are my oldest CL. I only have one other card, Merrick. I do plan on applying with NFCU as soon as Merrick posts my zero balance.
Does anyone know if this will result in a HP if it's a pre approval? I think I'll wait until after I app with NFCU though if I do decide to hit the button.

Not sure if it results in a HP but it might cost a fee to get it as well.
CreditOne and FP are known for fee based CLI's.
It's a NO pull or Soft at Most but I'm almost 100% that they charge you a % of the CLI amount just like First Premier. They Give CLI based on FEE's and the amount of time you've had your account open and not based on what you credit profile looks like.
Thanks for the replies!
Now I can see why no one likes this company. Well, I'll think about the CLI after I app with NFCU. I'm curious to see how much they would actually increase my CL. Either way, I'll keep Credit One for now to help with my AoA.
SIOPAO! haha. that's my nephews nick name. He hates it.
Keep CreditOne around only has long as needed. Don't bother with their CLI's. Merrick will give you a free fico if you go paperless. They have a monthly fee as well, but they are a tolerable bottomfeeder.
Once you get into NFCU, you can likely use the HP for the application as for their CC application. Cancel the CreditOne as soon as NFCU approves you for their CC.
Thanks NJ. Haha, well I can only wonder why he doesn't like it.
Thanks for the advice. I checked to see what the increase will be and it was a measly $150 plus fees.
Credit 1 upped me from $300 to $500 yesterday with a soft pull on my credit, but no fees were associated with it.
I've gotten a couple automatic CLI's with no fee too.
On the website, there's also a place where it asks for income. I think they use that to evaluate for a CLI whenever they decide to do it.
They also SP my EX monthly.
