Preapproved CLI on form from CIti

I received an increase of $1800 On Oct 4, no form CLI button went away. It has return, this time it shows a pre approved amount of $1500, but there is a form after wards. I called and was told that the form didn't have to be filled out and they can check to see if it can be done manually,but there was no guarantee that a pull would not be done. I'm just wondering for those who have seen the form , is there always a pre approved amount there or is this something new. The CSA also mentioned that they have offered customers more than one increase in a month. Any thoughts?

If the amount is already pre-approved it would seem odd to end up with a hard pull but at the same time seems kind of worth it even if it is.

Told it would require a pull, most likely because I received one 2 weeks ago and for the fact that my limit is already over 20K. I will wait till my third month (Jan2011) and see what happens then
