Product change AmEx via mobile app (instead of website)?

Can you product change your AmEx via the mobile app, or do you have to contact customer service?

I know you can on the website, but I can't access the website, even with the correct password (works every time on the mobile app, not on the web site).

So, I'm wondering if I can do it with some clicks, etc. on the mobile app, which works great for me... but I can't find a way to product change on it.  If you can, let me know what area to go in.  If you can't, I guess I'll call (and ask why I can't access the website).

Thanks.

You can also just call them up on the phone and let a CSR handle it.

You may need to clear cache/cookies and history. Otherwise, if it's not a security/password issue, try launching the AmEx site on a different browser.

Yes. I just recently downgraded my BCP in the app via chat.

@Lou-natic Yeah, I know Smiley Happy. I mentioned in my original post I may just have to call.  But, was hoping I could do it more automated in the app, like you can via the website.  But, oh well, call it might be.

Re: Product change AmEx via mobile app (instead of website)?

@FinStar Unfortunately, I've done all that.  Cleared cache, cookies, browing history, tried on another browser, tried at a friend's house (thinking it might be an unsecure connection via my router).  Nothing.  But, it works fine on my app.  Each time I change my password, my app deletes the old password and makes me enter the new one, and it works fine.  But, website won't.  I guess I gotta call and figure that out, and do the product change that way.  Thank you.

@Duriel Ah, chat.  Yes.  Thanks.  I was hoping there were some automated buttons, etc. to push that I couldn't find, but chat makes sense.  Maybe via chat I can find out why they won't let me into the website, but I can get into the app no problem, too.  Thanks.
