Product change to US Bank Altitude Reserve

I was checking in to see if anyone had successfully PC'd their current US Bank credit card to an Altitude Reserve (I have a Cash+ right now). If yes, were you able to get the sign-up bonus too?

Thanks in advance.

To my knowledge, USB does not do PC's of any kind.   You would have to app the card you wish to have.  Most banks in general don't give you a sign up bonus when you PC either.

Re: Product change to US Bank Altitude Reserve

USB allows some PC, but it seems unlikely to Altitude Reserve.

You would not get the SUB, of that I am certain.

Re: Product change to US Bank Altitude Reserve

I called in to check if I was eligible for any kind of PC, and it looks like I am only eligible for the same cards that show up on their pre-qual site, which is kind of disappointing to be honest.

The Altitude Reserve is not a card that can be PC'd into OP, as mentioned by @NRB525 upthread.

Some PCs may be possible for other products, depending on the type of account, and if eligible.

Re: Product change to US Bank Altitude Reserve

OP which cards do you have with USB? Any other credi products with them, checking?

FICO scores? General credit history?

My only relationship with USB is the Cash+ card I have, which is about 9-10 months old. My FICO scores are 720-740 in between the 3 bureaus. My file is relatively thin right now, with the oldest account being 1.5 years old. My file is absolutely clean, with no late payments and 2% util. I have 6 credit cards open right now, which is why I want to hold off on applying for new credit for 6 months (which would be up in January) so as to have a better shot with the AR.

Well, even if a PC were available, the C+ is not a year yet.

Keep using the heck out of that Cash+ even on 1% spend to build up history. You may do fine to app in six months. When you do app, go in branch. The banker will be able to do the app.

Is there a difference in odds with going in branch vs online?

Re: Product change to US Bank Altitude Reserve

You might have a good shot at getting approved. I was approved  with similar scores and a pretty thin file (1.8 Aaoa) and had a cash+ card for about 7 months. It did not show up on the pre qual but I went for it anyways and was approved with a $6500 SL. Love the card with the Samsung Pay.
