QS1 1st Statement CLI no dice reason "your capital one account is too new"
I'll try again on 2nd statement.
PS when exactly should I hit the luv button, I waited 2 business days after statement cut.
I have Capone Sony card for 1 year 1 month with 2 CLIs and just closed my secured which was 1.5 years, never a missed payment on any of my cards all my credit cards (9 of them) have 0 Bal with 4% util reported (stupid sunglass hut reports opening bal before I could pay it)
From what I have seen, most people report their first increase at the 3rd statement when requesting luv - though some have said they have gotten it after the 2nd.
For me, it seems I can only request every 6 months....if I try, I get the message "a change was recently made to this account."
Thankfully, it's only a SP!
OP - my understanding is that when you open a new account and are enrolled in Cap1's credit steps program, people have reported getting an increase typically after the 3rd statement when they request luv (That was my experience aswell). Then at 6months you get your auto steps CLI and after that it is 6months
Even though credit steps is auto cli you have to wait six months after the auto cli to apply for another CLI?
That has been my experience so far - after the 3rd statement you can sneak a requested CLI and still get your auto increase at 6 months, but after that it's back to waiting 6 months

YMMV. Some people with very heavy usage and PIF have received very early CLIs by request. I was offered $750 CLI after my 2nd statement; I withdrew my request and plan on resubmitting once my 3rd statement closes.
Just tried after second statement and still got the your account is too new message with large PIFs multiple times.
I hope 3rd statement is the charmed CLI for me.
