So currently i have a Qs1 I was able to PC from the "no hassle rewards" to QS over a year ago. I was wondering when i get the ability to switch it Venture would it be a possibility to get higher limits and then switch it back? Like i feel like the Venture card gets more generous CLI vs the QS so was wondering would PC to Venture help in future CLI or no? I barely use the card but util purposes would be nice.
Hmmm ... clever thought ... sounds a bit complicated ... you might call 2 different CSRs: (1) ask first CSR if PC'ing from QS to Venture is possible; (2) ask 2nd CSR if going from Venture to QS is possible. String the answers together and hopefully both are YES. :-)
I got quicksilverone converted to ventureone, and I asked them if it's possible for me to switch back later, the rep told me that's possible.
Could be very possible, I just wouldn't do it to close together e socially after a CLI, might also be able to get around it by switching to visa if it was a MasterCard previously, or vice versa? I've heard of having a QS in both visa and a MasterCard at the same time, but this is a clever idea...
the thing is, if the original card is mastercard, then venture will be also a mastercard, they just change the "rewards", but not the type of credit like visa to master or master to visa.
I'm guessing all those miles will be converted to cash rewards.
I checked my account and the rewards I got from quicksilverone (around 21 bucks) got changed into miles.
that's weird, I could change my quicksilverone to venture, I just chose to go with ventureone to avoid annual fee.
How about convert it to ventureone, then convert it to venture after 6 months?
