QS1 can't get it to upgrade

I have a QS1 for a few years  that started off with a 300 limit then a increase to 500 then to 600 then 6 months later 700

despite my best efforts C1 is determined to only give $100 increases

I use the card a lot and always PIF I have gotten my AF waived and interest waived recently so I must be doing something the c1 system likes

I can't get this card upgraded I'm doing everything right the upgrade offer is never there when I call nor on the online link

I just want at least a QS with no AF.

Call CapOne and speak with a rep to see if there are any upgrades available for your account.

Continue to call. You got credit for AF, they are good at waiving that on lower AF cards.

I don't know if this is as prevelant as it used to be, but CapOne when I started with them 5 years ago would not allow a PC from an AF product to a non-AF product.  The accounts were also bucketed based on what your score and profile was when you opened it, regardless of where you are now.  The two ways around it, would be to apply for either a QS outright, or apply for a Platinum, wait six months and you should be able to PC that one to a QS and then combine your two accounts.

@EAJuggalo - there are a variety of PC options and Capital One does allow PCs from an AF account to a non-AF account, depending on eligibility and product.  As far as account combinations, the option has not been available for a very long time.
