Congrats on the early pc. I would try to get the cli after you make your 6th payment.
Congrats, So if I PC before credit steps they will still do credit steps on the 6-7th month but it will be higher as a QS then a QS1?
First I'm hearing of this, I was going to wait until after I got credit steps to PC so as not to miss the auto CLI
For those of you who have PC'd capital one cards, does the display of the card change in your account? For example, if you PC a platinum to a standard QS, will you see the QS card when you log in to your account? I just PC'd on Sunday, still displays as a platinum card, although there is now a "Rewards" underneath it.
I pced an old (formerly HSBC/Orchard) Platinum MC to a QS1 MC recently. While on the phone with Capital One, a rep told me that you can't product change a Mastercard to a Visa and vice-versa.

Correct. However, you can still get that product level. My old HSBC/Household MC became a Platinum MC, then a QS1 MC, then a QS MC, and is now a V1 WMC. I'll probably see if I can go back to QS once my 6 months are up.

The card image should update, but the label may depend on the level of the payment network. If your CL was over $5K when you PCed, it should either be a World Mastercard or a Visa Signature. IIRC, my card said "Platinum Mastercard" prior to my getting the WMC status.
Very nice. Thank you! The card was still a newbie with a 1k credit limit, but I'm excited none-the-less!

Wasn't aware there even was a QS Mastercard aside from the QS1.
I upgraded my QS VISA to the Venture because Cap1 offered so there is no hard credit pull, same cl and same open account date and account nubmer; I also asked to upgrade my Journey VISA to a QS VISA becasue i didnt' want to lose my QS; they agreed. Again, no credit pull, same cl and same account number.
