Question About Amex..

I currently have the Amex cash magnet.. With the 0% Apr for 15 months. Which will be up come January. I wanted to apply for the BCE card. I was pre approved. However a pop up came stating I wouldn't get the introductory rate. I'm wondering is that because I'm still under the current Introductory rate? Thanks for any advice ( I canceled the App was I saw that)

I don't think it has anything to do with current 0% promo.

Have you been using your card, or have you been carrying a balance on it due to 0% promo?

It's my daily driver.. Current limit is 20,000.. Current balance is 700.. I just paid 500 towards that. It just hasn't updated.

Chase will deny if Chase has decided you are not eligible for sign-up bonus.

Ame. May approve but with pop-up saying no sign-up bonus.

Introductory zero interest rate is effectively a sign up bonus.
