A couple weeks ago I got a SP CLI on my Simplicity. Got the prompt that if I wanted more I could request addition CLI with HP. I declined.
Does anyone know if it's now too late to request HP CLI that was offered? I'm wondering if the 6 month rule between CLIs now applies.
I asked CS via online chat. They said it's not too late, but rumor has it that Citi CS may occasionally give inaccurate info. Thanks!
You can request a HP cli anytime but the 6 mos rule would most likely apply. As for the CSR it doesnt matter who you talk to in my opinion, i usually call and ask like 3 different ones and will get a different answer each time its rather annoying.

If you actually figure this out, let us know. I remember getting the SP CLI about 2 weeks ago and the HP was an option. I did not take it but I assume, at least at that point, the 6 months rule would not apply since they specifically said you could get more with a HP.
What is the difference between the information a lender sees on a HP vs what a lender sees on a SP? Is it just gettting the FICO score or does even more show up on a HP?

Just finished another online chat. This CS said that I will need to wait 6 months. Just for fun I plan on calling in later to see if I can confirm that answer.

Haha, of course. I wonder how they would react if you said you have called 6 times and gotten a different answer each time. I don't understand how a 'standardized' program like that can have so many different answers to the same question.

From what I understand the info that is seen on a SP and a HP are the same. The SP could have taken place at any point in the past--mine happened a couple weeks before my request--and the CLI was based off that. Requesting a HP increase means they will pull the report at that moment and the report/score might be different than it was on the SP day.
why not just go back online and request another CLI, if you really need to wait 6 months the system will tell you so otherwise will give you option for the hp CLI to continue.

I did that already and got the wait message. My question is referring to whether the 6 month wait applied to CLI via SP or if it also includes HP. The system does not offer a HP option for increases now (on my account).
