Question about Discover It Card

I was just aproved for a dicover it. Did not tell me how much I was aproved for, but gave option to let me know when ballance goes over $5,000. So does this mean I was aproved for atleat $5,000? I have a cap one card that has a $500 limit & a barclays that has a $2,200 limit. This will be my highest limt card if so. BTW not sure who they pulled but myfico trans last week was 689 and Equfax was 702.

Just call them and they can tell you the limit.

I tried that and it just says congrats I was aproved. Does not say the CL. Guess I will call

You should call in my opinion. I've seen 5 digit initial credit limits from them...

Ok just called & was aproved for $5,500. My husband was also aproved for same card for $1,200. His apple barclay card was just bumped from $1,900 to $3,900. He was kinda bumed he didnt get aproved for more than $1,200. Should he try a recon?

In my opinion it doesn't hurt for your DH to recon... If they deny then its no big deal, they are great about auto CLIs.

You might add DH as an AU to your higher limit cards which may tickle discover into auto CLIing him.

Yup!!! Make sure he tells them if its a HP or not to recon. Some CSR's can be sketchy.
