Question about adding a 'hidden' tradeline

If I were you I'd slow down awhile. Let your new cards age and see how they work for you. It's easy to get sucked in by "but I could get 5x on this or that" but in dollars, how much more will it be? Is it worth yet another new account?

Step back, take a breather and evaluate things. You have many solid cards already. You don't need this IMO. You don't want to end up with a bunch of redundant accounts that you later want to get rid of.

Thanks kdm I do appreciate your insight always.

Either way this plays out I am definitely done for a good long while, but if it does go through I already want to close out at least 2 cards (possibly 3) because they are or will be trumped as far as usefulness to me.

The 2 I am already sure of are 2 of my original cards from last summer when I started learning about credit and they have already been eclipsed by cards that offer better rewards for my monthly expenses, and rest assured I don't ever carry any balances from month to month because I don't spend anything on a credit card that I don't already have cash in the bank to cover.
