Hey guys good afternoon,
I normally shop at winn-dixie for groceries, They have a western union for money orders because the only option i have for rent is by a check or money order. My question is this,I usually use my debit card for the money order and when i log into my bank account it shows winn-dixie on the transaction. If i use my Barclay Sallie Mae for the transactions will it show as Grocery? or will i be penalized for a fee?

Did it post yet? Maybe it is a temporary hold.
If you get a cash advance from your Barclay card you will be charged a fee. Yes, Winn-Dixie would be coded as a grocery purchase.

its a pending hold on my chase debit account, but it says winn-dixie and not western union ...
When I've bought money orders in the past at Wal-Mart or the USPS, there was never an option to use 'credit', I was automatically prompted for a PIN.
I don't think their systems will even let you change to 'credit' even if you want to.
