Question about nav FCU application procedure.

Ducky just told me about the nav fcu & it looks pretty darned good-thanks ducky!!. DH would definitely get accepted since he's a Navy vet w/good credit. Only thing is we have a big balance to transfer from a high-interest card, & we'd like to pay off as much as possible w/a 0% int. BT card & transfer the rest to the navy card. DH has a current salary & I don't, so even though his CSs average around 680 & mine are around 740 (no idea why) he should be the one to apply.

Here's the question: is there any way to find out what the interest rate & CL would be before he applies, so we can know how high a transfer would be approved & figure out how much principle we'd be able to pay off at 0%?

It's late here & my brain's lost its figure-juggling ability for the night, so I hope this post makes sense. I'll check back tomorrow after a decent night's sleep.

Unfortunately, there's no way of knowing what CL is going to be before you apply.  Especially, APR.  Completely dependent on what's on your credit report.
