Question about new card

Hello, I am looking for advice on whether to accept a Capitol one gold card. It has a 300 limit. I am trying to rebuild my credit, I currently have a 300 paypalge and 2000 split between a Kay and Jared card. Are my current cards enough or should I get the Capitol one? Rght now my TU and EQ fico scores are 677 and 671.

If it wouldn't help be build credit I would pass. I didn't know if my current account are enough to eventually get a prime card or if the cap one would help.

Re: Question about new card

Yea your scores are pretty good, I would think you would have a decent amount of cards you would be able to choose from if your really looking.  I would suggest you take a look around the forum a little more and see what other people have been approved for with those types of scores and get a card that suits your lifestyle so that it's not just a card you want to boost your score or build up your credit but also something that you can actually get something out of and use in your everyday life.  I'm not going to sit here and say that I'm not guilty of chaseing a credit score because I am but I have learned at the same time your doing that ensure that the cards your getting are benefitial to you not just something your accepting becasue some one offers them to you.  Good Luck!!

All th normal ones like chase, us bank, citi, Amex, boa, and some others I'm sure. I have one collection from 1/2008 and they all site that and I think a few said lack of revolving debt or something. Update - I just aped for lowes and got denied, not to be detered I applied for walmart and got approved.

Re: Question about new card

It is important to have a major credit card for credit building and FICO score.    I recomment taking the card.
