I would appreciate it if somenone could help answer my question about possible purchase interest charged after balance transfer.
I saw that BOA has a Customized Cash Rewards credit card which is currently offering 0% Intro APR for 15 billing cycles for purchases, and for any balance transfers made in the first 60 days. However, I saw this sentence in the card's terms & conditions "Balance Transfers incur interest charges from the transaction date. If you revolve your balance to take advantage of a promotional or introductory offer, all transactions and balances, including purchases, will be charged interest. "
It seems that from this sentence, if I made a balance transfer using the card within the 60-day from to take advantage of the introductory BT offer, and later use the card for a purchase, my purchase will be charged interest, even though the card has a 15 month 0% APR for purchase? Or did I understand it wrong, that any combinations of BT & purchase would both be subject to the introductory 0% APR rate?
Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It appears you have 60 days to use the BT and for purchases for O%, if anything occurs after 60 days you will be charged interest on those purchases.
If the promotion specifically states 0% on purchases AND balance transfers, then you have no worries. When I first got my BoA Cash Rewards, I had the same promo for both. I did a BT, and also continued using the card for purchases to meet my SUB. You won't be charged any interest until the 15 months are up.
Adversely, if the promo stated 0% on BT only, then the answer would be.....Yes, the statement after you made your purchases, you would start accruing interest on the existing BT as well until paid in full.

I just went to the BoA site myself to check the current offer. This is indeed 0% on Purchases AND Balance Transfers for 15 months......so you could use both without interest until that 15 months expire. No worries.
