This is probably a dumb question (& if so, I apologize!) but what is the date/cycle for credit card statements? Is it every month on the same date (like, the 15th) or is it every 30 or 31 days (so, it might fluctuate a day or so each month, esp. around Feb with only 28 days).
I'm trying to set my calendar to remind me to pay them off each period before the statement cuts but I'm not 100% sure what I should put as the recurring date.
Thanks for the help!

The statement date is always the same. I guess if you card has an end of the month date, it might change, but I don't recall ever having that issue. Moreover, you can usually change your due date (and thus your statement cut date) with most CCs. You might want to automatically set your card payments as well to avoid mistakes. All my cards are set to PIF or if carrying a a balance due to intro APRs (very rare) to make at least minimum payments automatically each month. This way my once a month audit is seamless and quick and I don't have to worry about forgetting to make a payment.

Bingo!
I'm going to amend the previous statement. For an individual card, the statement date is always the same. However, different cards tend to have different statement dates. So, card A may have the statement date on the 5th, while card B may ahve the date on the 19th.

True, and it's usually tied closely to the date you applied. At least, that has been my experience.
Also, you can always change your billing cycle date, either through customer service or online. I set my cards to cut the 10th or 11th of every month to make it easier to keep track of them.
