Neat! Thanks for sharing RB. One more question, do you know which other Amex card is compatible with the Blue Sky? Compatible as in having the same rewards and what not. A charge card perhaps?

Could someone please answer my question here? I would appreciate it. Smiley Happy

spec,

good looking out!  thanks for having my back... i am so tired.

I am trying to watch In the Line of Fire with Clint Eastwood.  I remember living in Louisiana and never imaged I would ever live in DC at one point in my life.

I guess i should worry about my postings instead.

hope you have a great weekend

I don't really know anything about BLUE SKY , so I guess I can't help. However, since I posted about points you may have been asking me. I just assume that this card is a miles card as opposed to the rewards system that you would find on other amex cards. Also , of course, any of the cc's with branding would not , most likely , be a part of the rewards program. I would go the the amex site and click on the view all cards link to compare which have the rewards program. As I stated earlier; from my experience it is more beneficial to have all you rewards in one basket. They add up quicker and are more valualble that way. (all the charge cards are on the same rewards program, but I don't think any of the branded cards are . Blue definitely is , but I'm guessing that SKY is strictly a mile program, but don't know for sure

Please let us know if you learn more/ sorry to not be of more help.

Re: Question for Amex Cardholders....

Guys, I just checked online a few minutes ago and AMEX approved me for the Blue card!  I don't know what my credit line is, though.  I'm glad because last night when I didn't get that "60 second approval", I was upset!   I purchased all my scores from myfico.com last night before I applied and the latest is:

Transunion: 779
Equifax: 760
Experian: 738

For some reason, Experian ALWAYS has the lowest scores and it almost never has the most current info! Smiley Sad

I am so happy I found this forum.  You guys are an avenue of awesome support!

Re: Question for Amex Cardholders....

Congrats Queen,

I told you AMEX is good. You can call and ask for your CL.  When I got my blue a while back it gave me the 30 second reply and showed my CL. Which I thought was wrong.. It was so dang high.

When I was approved for the Optima Platinumn, I did not get the 30 second reply. But I checked later and showed approved.  You can call them and they will give you your CL.

Keep us posted.  You have great scores, I sure hope to be there soon!

Re: Question for Amex Cardholders....

what does it mean to reallocate your credit with your amex card? I am currently on the Oasis program so my card gives no benefits what so ever.

Re: Question for Amex Cardholders....

Pay off that Oasis card to get back into Amex good graces.

If you have more than one regular card with them you can allocate CL's between cards at will.

Well all, I did apply and guess what?  I didn't get a "60 second approval!"  They gave some message about their system being worked on and I could check the status.  Boy, that's a shocker.Smiley Surprised

I applied for the rewards Blue, not the cash back one.  They got some nerve not approving me right away. Smiley Very Happy  We shall see but I am not going to keep going to their site to check my application status.  Either I get it or I don't.  Only thing is I HATE having another "hit" on my credit if it's not approved.  I'll let you all know...

The other night they were doing work on the website. I wish you had called the 888 number. Just wanted to make you feel better knowing it was legit that the website was down.
