Re: RE:

Years ago in high school as a full service gas station attendant. They taught you to hold the money in order of 1's, 20's, 10's, then 5's that way if anyone saw you pull a wad of money out make change. When you unfolded it all you saw was ones up top and fives on the bottom. Most of the times when you made change that is what you were using to break it anyways. I am sure that is not as much of an issue these days with gas prices. I am sure MOST pay with c.c. these days...

Great posts everyone! I just ordered a Fossil ID Bi-fold. I'm a big fan of Fossil for their quality and style. It has an ID window, 8 credit card slots and a money clip all in one:

I liked this wallet so much, I went to Macy's at lunch today and purchased this one.

I don't like the fact that it doesn't have a place to keep $$$ inside, but I digress.  Ah, the pleasures of impulse buying.

Re: RE:

My main gripe about front pocket wallets is that I hate having a bunch of stuff in my front pockets.  It's as uncomfortable as it gets, especially when it's hot outside for some reason.  I can't even tell I have a wallet in the back pocket (thats part of the trouble.... muggers).  So it's a lose-lose situation.

Re: RE:

Just got the Fossil wallet today. As I opened it, I saw something that resembled an AmEx Gold... Having seen the AmEx Gold being modeled in the wallet online, I don't think I need to tell you, my heart started racing. I held my breath as I pulled it out. A GOLD PIECE OF PLASTIC THAT SAYS FOSSIL IN BIG LETTERS ON IT.

Wallets

Only a Gold AMEX, why not a simulated Platinum or Centurion (the famous "Black Card") while they're at it?

Historical trivia: when Social Security was new, one wallet maker put a simulated Social Security card in the pocket designated for such, and while most customers recognized it for what it was, thousands of people got confused and started using the number of the sample card thus creating a mess that took decades to clean up:
