Oh no this would be for my 19yrold sister who has a 18k income and highest cl in cc is $3k backed by us bank.
@BearsAndTurtlesRtheBest wrote:Oh wow!!! didnt know that! do you think that having a $3k CL cc backed by US Bank be enough to even qualify for CS or CSP??
It depends on a lot more than that, when I got approved my highest CL was 4k... I think not having a 5k credit line isn't really a big deal if you have a strong history with a couple account 3-5 years old and no baddies.... obviously a score north of 720 would help as well
her aaoa is 1 year in EXPERIAN EQ and TU are 2.5 yr in aaoa oldest reporting is 10 years on eq and tu becuse she was added as an AU on my dads oldest acct. her score is curently low because inquiries that hit 1 year markdown this month, and 1 high balance, once she pays the balance lower it should def. rise sooo do you guys htink it work out???
When i was approved for the CSP recently - 2 years 11 months AAoA, 750 FICO, I had Citi Forward ($5,500), CapitalOne Platinum ($5,000), Barclaycard Apple ($1,900), a bunch of GE accounts, 0 inquiries in the past year on EX & EQ, & 2 inquiries in the past year on TU.

My Aaoa was 1.8 I had discover more 2k and chase freedom 3.5k. And a cap one 300. I was able to recon and turn freedom into CSP
So, you had to relinquish your Freedom to get the CSP? Basically a product change/swap?
I applied for the CSP a few weeks ago and at the time had a Amex BCP, Freedom, Discover More, Citi Thankyou and Simplicity. AAoA was roughly 5.5 years
At time of approval, I had Amex cards, BofA, Barclay, Capital One, Discover and Citi. AAOA was approx 10 years.
Thanks for the input guys and gals. At least for tonight, I'm still in the garden.
