I recently got a Citi card so I can use virtual account numbers.
I generated one, set the limit to $100. It was charged $75 and worked fine.
The question I have is, how do I pay off the $75 balance? My actual card balance remains at $0 so when I go to make a payment I can't actually do it. When I try and manage the card number I don't see a place to pay it off. It's been a few days since it's been charged so it's not pending any more.
Trust me, it will appear.....just give it a few days....

I've used it before. The charges will appear as if you put them on your regular card.

I really like the Virtual Account numbers at Citi. As you know, you can put a date limit as well as a $ limit on them.
It has saved me from unscrupulous subscription charges, etc. over the years.... those companies that really don't let you quit their product or service that easily (or at all!)
Citi can't view the pending charges thats why you can't see it anywhere with a 0 current balance. It will appear few days later just like regular CC purchase.

tell me about it! this is EXACTLY what i use the virtual account numbers for!
Alright, I'll wait it out then. Nothing like waking up to see that Citi was hacked. I just had my account for 2 weeks now, hopefully mine wasn't part of the compromise.
Hope I am not part of that breach.
