Question for those with backdated Amex's - did you get an alert from MyFico

Did you get a new account alert from the 3B monitoring when it hit your account? Or does the monitoring look at the backdate and not send an alert because the software doesn't detect it as new?

I don't know if you will get an alert but I know FICO does not count it as a new card..

A brand new one shows no payment history, just like a new card (because that is what it is).   With the AAoA boost, backdating is good for automated approvals because of the score.  But on manual review, they can easily tell that it is backdated.

bummer, it would be great if it populated your reports with pretty green dots  :]

I did not get an alert, it took 2 months for AMEX to report, but finally my oldest account is 22 years!!!! YMMV, try adjusting your alert settings, and be sure to keep us updated!

Hehe, my impatience got the better of me so I bought the three bureau scores and reports. It's in there just like it's supposed to be.

I did not get an alert for the new account(s) backdated to 2003, however I did get an alert for a balance change on TU.  The accounts have not reported to EX or EQ yet.

Starting Score: EQ 657 TU 627 EX 650 12/2014
Current Score: EQ 747 TU 748 EX 738 3/2017

That's exactly what I got. An alert for a balance change on TU.
