Question on Amex Delta App / What is meant by status "in progress"

I applied for Amex Delta on 11/20. Online it said it is approved and I'll received the card in 10 days. Then I got an email from Amex stating " thank you for new application" and check the status at this link. I log into the link. It says the application is in progress and check back in 24 hours. I keep getting the same message for the last 3 days. Is my application approved or still being approved? I am not sure what is the message " in progress means". Did any one notice this when you applied for Delta?

No, not me personally, but it means you have been accepted and it is processing. I am sure w/ the whole Thanksgiving weekend they are swamped in Cust. Serv. and new apps and it is just a  matter of time.

If they need more info they will call you and if you are not home leave a message for you to call them back.

if your approved you should be approved. you could always call customer service to get clarification.

Thanks. I would give them a call mid next week and find out. I would think if it is approved it is approved.

when i was approved it told me my cl instantly, did you get that screen that congrats your cl is XXXX?

Hi ducky, yes it said my CL is $1000 and is available once I receive the card and activate the card. Also it said I shoud receive the card in the next 10 days.

Thanks. It is a bit releif. The message on the status site is confusing. Hopefully by next Friday, I might have the card in hand then. I would love to get the card back again.
