Now that Amex has discontinued their policy to backdate new accounts, anyone know what happens when you PC from one Product to another? For instance, when a cardmember PCs, say, from the EDP to the ED, the account number remains the same, as does the date of the TL. So, this doesn't affect one's AAOA.
On the other hand, what happens, say, when a person PCs from different product families, such as from the HHonors to the SPG? I'm assuming this requires a new account number, and therefore counts as a new account, thereby nullifying the orginal Membership date on the CR?
