Yeah, but for what purpose?

The score itself may be worthless, but watching it for changes can alert you to changes in your reports. It might be useful to let you know when you need to look at your real scores. Smiley Wink

But there are probably better tools for that, really.

Re: Question on CreditKarma

Just wondering, How safe do you think CreditKarma is??  I see it is still in a beta phase.. I guess a plus is most people use truecredit too so we would know if our ssn was lo-jacked..   Smiley Happy

Re: Question on CreditKarma

I pulled my Credit Karma score a couple of months ago out of curiosity, and I have to say that even though the score is worthless, the advice on that site, in contrast to other sites that offer fake scores, was spot on!  Seriously.  It gave very detailed advice on the report's weak points and how to improve on them, and it wasn't at all just common sense stuff.  (Sorry, don't remember the details right now, but I do remember being very impressed.)

Re: Question on CreditKarma

So I couldn't resist the urge...its free afterall...hehehe...

Their score 705
FICO           658 as of yesterday....

*chants to self* I will not pull again, I will not pull again,

I gotta admit I was just tickled to see that 705 even if its a FAKO...I've never had a FAKO in the 700's...

Re: Question on CreditKarma

I just checked it out.....Smiley Surprised  741 which is about the same as TU Wamu.. It certainly has a broad range like 150-990.  The thing that surprised me is they gave statistics for my "age group".  I thought this was illegal........thoughts??

Perhaps they meant the age of your credit file?
