Question on PC

I finially reached the $300 cash back milestone (25% bonus will be granted when redeeming over $300), and planned a PC from 1% all category to 1-2-3 card. I have a question before doing that.

If I do PC, will i get the welcome bonus for 1-2-3 card?

will the history for 1% all category card remain on my credit reprot, or a new acount would replace it.

You don't get bonus when PC. History of old card will transfer over new card. I believe account stays the same if Visa->Visa or MC->MC, account will change if Visa pc to MC or MC pc to Visa.

thanks. sounds like it's better off to apply the new card and close the old one
