Questions For Capital One $50k Single Credit Line Members....

Hey guys,

I am hoping to gain some insight from those of you with Capital One credit lines of $50k (or close to it) or more on a single account. This is not for those who have combined limits (cheaters Smiley Tongue) I am sure others could find this useful as well.....

If you could tell me:

What product?

New account or CLI to get there?

AAOA?

Scores?

Any baddies?

Stated Income?

Utilization?

Total exposure both with C1 and Overall?

If you had to petition for it, who did you contact and how did you request it?

If others have additional questions they think might be helpful to the thread please feel free to add it on.

With the ability to combine accounts, this has become much easier

Do you need 50k CL? Buying a yacht or something? Income would have to support it. And most likely no baddies, but you never know.

needs and (possible) wants are 2 different things lol I am sure some on here could need it though who might be interested to find out. I am not doing it purely for my sake and I am also not asking for those who combined CL's I will note this in the topic question.

Re: Questions For Capital One $50k Single Credit Line Members....

Without a huge income and assets etc youre unlikely at best to see a 50k approval. Yes, finstar got it, but he/she is also clearly earning a much higher income etc than most of us.

As far as merging you can create the 50k line yourself, but be careful. To me, the higher your limit, the closer youre watched.

Whether you need or want it is irrelevant. More is not always better. Credit limits to income is considered on all apps. Do you want to "use up" 50k on one account? Could hinder future approvals

You seem to think that combining is somehow inferior to getting it on one card initially.   Really not sure that is true from the issuers viewpoint.   I have two cards with them, one $35K and one $20K.   So my exposure is $55K.   If I combine, I get a $55K card,  and my exposure is still $55K.  Why would Cap One care one way or the other?

My goodness me.. OP is just inquiring and asking about data.  Whether they qualify for it or not is for them to decide. Do they need a 50k CL you ask? We don't know their salaries or assets...

Thank you!

and I understand that it might be more closely watched etc, I appreciate the advice.

I nowhere said it was inferior,  it is just not the data I am looking for.

If other members who do have the data I requested I would appreciate hearing from them like Finstar.
