Quick AMEX question

The pre-quals say, "your preapproved blah blah" I know they aren't guaranteed but...

seens like I read some people saying it's possible to get a pre-qual SL too before actually submitting the application. Did I dream that? TIA

You didn't dream it, I've seen it when a co worker apped. It said he qualified for a CL up to 2k when he pre qualified and he got 2k when he finished the app.

Was your co-worker using the app or desktop? Wonder if it matters

You definitely didn't dream it. I saw "You may be approved for a credit limit up to $15,000" when I was doing AMEX prequals a couple of months ago (but only a few times out of many many many attempts). When I applied for my Bonovy Brillant I received exactly what they said.
