Quick question please help!

So I have been repairing my credit for over a year now and paying my bills perfectly. Unfortunately I had some health problems this month and accidentally paid one of my credit cards 1 day late! Will this show up on my credit? Should I call and speak to the CC company. I always pay my balance in full. I'm so upset with myself right now. We are trying to buy a house right now Smiley Sad

I don't believe being one day late would show on your CR, but you probably will incur late fees and it may or may not affect your APR. I believe it would have to be 30 days late for it to show on your CR. I may be wrong, others will chime in also.

If you call and explain the reason some will waive the late fee.  I don't think most will report a 1 day late, but can ask.

+1 on the call and explain.

A good plan would be to pay at least the mnimum payment due as soon as the statement drops.  This is doubly important if you are in the middle of a 0% APR promo or you tend to revolve balances.  Take an honest look at yourself to make sure this was just an oversight as opposed to something more.

this is correct, it wont show up on your credit report, you are only 1 day pass the due date not 30, so dont worry.

And also call up CS and explain and usually they will waive it however YMMV
