Quicksilver CLI

I have had my Quicksilver for a little over 6 months now.  As you can see in my signature it's my lowest limit card.  I would like to ask for a CLI but from what I have read on here - Cap One is pretty stingy.  My overall utilization is 20%.  I will have it to 0% by August (I'm paying off a 0% BT on the PNC Flex.)  My scores range from 750 - 780.  My income is 65K.  Any thoughts on my chance for success if I ask now?  Am I better off to wait until August?  Thanks!

I say ask now for sure. Your profile doesn't look bad. To me you're primed.. give it a rip! You may love what you see!

Re: Quicksilver CLI

Keep in mind if you get declined on their website you can always go the EO route as well. Their Exec Office has been more than helpful for many people in the way of CLI removal of annual fee and reduction of APRs.

Re: Quicksilver CLI

It's a SP if you request an increase via your online account. Doesn't hurt to try.

Either way, I've requested a few in the past couple months on my Quicksilver card ($65K income, score in high 700s, 20% utilization overall) and always get denied because my "overall usage of my credit line is not high enough".

Good luck!

This pretty much sums it up.

Re: Quicksilver CLI

I use this card pretty heavily and always pay in full. Perhaps that will help my cause.
