I've been carrying a balance of around 2.5k to 3k on my Quicksilver for several months, today I paid the balance in full. This account was opened in November of last year so it's well past the 6 months Cap 1 likes to wait to offer credit limit increases. I've attempted to get a CLI on several occassions but was always given the "payments too low" rejection.
Now that the card is paid in full (well, tonight when the payment clears), how soon should I attempt another CLI? I have two other cards with Cap One and both have a zero balance, if that matters. Also, recently I consolidated an older QS and V1 into the Quicksilver this post is about, does Cap 1 consider this a CLI? I realize account combination is a new feature with Cap 1 but I figured I'd ask anyway in case someone has experience with this or has asked a rep about it.

Since consolidating into the account did effectively give you a CLI, yes it does count and you generally won't get a fresh CLI for 6 months.
