Re: Quicksilver Downgraded From Signature?

True. Try supervisor first. EO last resort.

Re: Quicksilver Downgraded From Signature?

I needed EO for my issues. However, my point is you should TRY the normal CSR options first, or ask to speak to one of their supervisors. They still have more power than the csr.

No, it doesn't work every time, but you can try these options first, then go to the EO when needed.

That is awful. Hopefully you can call the eo and it is a mistake.

I've had cases opened for the EO.  They never made it to the EO.  At least get a US rep.  And let's not call something important to someone trivial.  Everyone is a customer, and everyone has the right to call about concerns with their accounts.

I was speaking of personal experience. I've had the exactly same issue taken care of by escalation of CSR.

Good point. There is a tendency to overuse EO. Try the regular CSRs first. Then if it doesn't work go for the EO.

We all have a "go to EO" reflex around here and have to remember that it should be an exception not a rule. You should try normal channels first. Even with capital one lol

And with your quicksilver, how many issues were taken care of (upgrades, cli's, and signature) with the help of the overseas reps?

I've only used EO once for WMC upgrade. Everything else CSR did for me.

Well you might be lucky one Smiley Happy

My DW has got nothing from CSR except her upgrade to QS from Platinum. After, that CSRs have done nothing for her. She has to reach out to EO for each and everything.

Re: Quicksilver Downgraded From Signature?

my qs wmc remained a wmc but they put the colored Mastercard logo on it. I much preferred the greyed out Mastercard logo on my non-chip card.

as far as EO goes, always try at least once or twice with the normal CSRs. some can be very helpful, but in the end you know the EO will get it done.

JPM has spoiled me, since my customer service number goes right to the EO and they get stuff done. now whenever I call another lender it's like ".... really?" lol

Re: Quicksilver Downgraded From Signature?

I was wondering this too. I have a SL of 3k. If I were to get an additional 2k credit for a total of 5k would they send me a whole new card with "signature" on the front or would I just keep the current card I have but still get the benefits since on the website it will say "visa signature"? I guess I'll have to wait and see.

You will not be automatically bumped up to Signature just because your limit is 5k or above. You have to call and actually get your card converted to Visa Signature (to be honest it's kind of a pain in the rear).

If you get your card upgraded you'll get the Signature benefits.
