Quicksilver Reporting

Hey everyone,

So I was approved for the Capital One QS and the Venture about a month and a half ago, and I had a question. My QS has just shown up on my Equifax as a "Flexible Spending Credit Card, and isn't reporting a limit. I could have sworn I've read posts of people mentioning how their QS and Venture Visa sigs still report limits. Is this something new? And does anyone know if all of the beauraus will report it that way? I really just don't want it messing with my utiliization, and that was one of the reasons I was excited for my Venture approval.

Any information would be great, thanks!

Re: Quicksilver Reporting

Mine is the exact same and reports as "Flexible Spending" but it still also displays my supposed credit limit and CreditKarma calculates utilization on that basis (for both EQ and TU).

Does it report your limit on your actual credit reports, or somewhere like MyFico? I think my limits are reported on CreditKarma, but CK isn't really all that important.

I think people only denigrate CreditKarma because it uses a FAKO scoring model. However, the underlying data reported by creditors to TU and EQ (upon which a FICO/FAKO would be calculated) is correct, and pretty much fully intact.  Put it this way: If CK knows the "limit" on my Visa Sig QS, then TU and EQ do too.

+1 on that.Cap 1 a little slow reporting and seems first time it doesn't reflect but usually 2nd reporting everything is there .

Re: Quicksilver Reporting

You will be fine.  Although it is showing as "Flexible spending account",  it will show the limits.
