The cards look identical. I had to hunt around to even figure out that I have Quicksilver One, and not Quicksilver.
Applied for Quicksilver and was denied....I'm guessing it requires a higher score? My current C1 cards (2 at 2k each) are sitting empty...not sure if that has an effect or not...
QS One is the QS card with an annual Fee. QS is a solid card. QS One is a solid starter card.
The Quicksilver One is for average credit and the Quicksilver is for those with good-excellent credit.
If your Cap1 Platinum card is older than 6 months, call the EO and request a PC to a QuickSilver. Your QS1 is also able to PC to a QS after 6 months.
Good idea, thanks!
Is it confirmed that the ONLY difference between the two cards is the annual fee?
Also, is it ever possible to convert to the QS1 to the QS?
The only difference is the annual fee, they both get 1.5% cashback.
Yes, you can convert your QS1 to a QS!
i have seen a few times on credit karma a capital one qs not the qs one, with no AF for good not excellent credit.... I dunno... I had scores around 600 and got the qs visa no af 0apr for 10 months....but the interest on that puppy is 22.9% after. There is def a lot of disambiguation here with capital one.

Quicksilver One comes as a MC while Quicksilver is a Visa. If you prefer one comapany over the other apply accordingly. Keep in mind if the Quicksilver one is converted to a Quicksilver without annual fee it will remain a Mastercard.
You also get the $100 signup bonus for spending $500 with the Quicksilver. You don't get that with the Quicksilver One.
