To echo what many have said... you're throwing money away if you pay the AF on a Venture card. Many cards offer 2% back on everything as cash for no annual fee. No point in paying an AF for a limited 2%.
The Venture card is really only good for the new signup bonus. The 10x at hotels.com is nice as well, but you can get that with the VentureOne, too, so downgrade it and you still get that benefit for no AF.
