Yes, I like the mixture of credit I have. I'm now waiting to see if PenFed and Nordstrom will give me credit card.

Now at $21,100. Add GM to the mix. I know for sure PenFed is going to deny me now. I now have 6 EQ inquiries. They haven't pulled my EQ report yet. I want to call and cancel the application. Should I?Message Edited by DI on 09-13-2009 06:13 PM
I withdrew my 1st app with them. They just list it as "withdrawn." I ultimately did another app and got the card.
Should you? Depends on whether you would feel better not knowing their answer, or if it won't bother you to hear "declined" if that is what they do.
ETA: If they haven't pulled an inq yet...that is, of course, another reason to withdraw the app.

If won't bother me if they decline. As long as I know I don't have a Repo, CO's or lates on my credit reports its ok. Other reasons such as too many inquiries and recent accounts will quickly recover.

Too funny...while you were responding, I was editing my post to add that you may want to withdraw to avoid the inq. If that doesn't bother you...you may want to go for it.

I would leave it go. At this point what is one more INQ?I'm going to let it go through. That will give me 7 inquiries on my EQ. In about 6 months, I may get lucky and get one inquiry deleted. I got 10 inquires deleted back in April or May and left me with 0 inquries.
