Call twice last night to have the card expidited but both reps said it was not an option at this time.
Called through my Slate card and hit 0...asked that rep to expedite CS(R) and he verified my address and agreed.
I've been unable to validate if he actually did it. No UPS notification yet, SM message declined my request (not sure if they even bothered checking my account to see if it was already done).

I really, really don't want to sound negative here, but I think this card will end up being nerfed in the future. I could only imagine how much money Chase will be losing just from paying out $1,500 in sign-up bonuses to everyone who applies, while also providing the $300 airline fee credit.
Back to the subject, I think Chase will eventually begin expediting these cards, but for now, like BeeH11 said, the demand for the card may be too great for them, and also too costly to pay for the faster shipping.
I would be anxious to get this card quickly as well but here's a suggestion. Leave the reps alone and I'd be willing to bet that you'll get the card just as quickly as you would have if you didn't call. This incessant and nonstop multiple calls to Chase reps is causing backlogs and holding up the approval and delivery processes for everyone. Take a breathe and relax for a bit. The card will get to you fairly quickly. Between these types of calls and ones asking if the card is metal combined with all the people calling to see if they are approved can only be handled by so many people.

I actually wonder if $100 of that $300 is subsidized by Visa through the Visa Infinite program. VI card holders should get $100 credit yearly (or so I've heard) but the CSR is excluded from this, however, CSR cardholders get $300 credit as compared to $200 credit from other high end cards. Just a thought.
As car as the topic goes - I was approved for expedited shipping after calling the number on the back of my Freedom card, keying in the Freedom account number and explaining immediate need to book travel (by Monday).
I'm sure the rep had to confirm with a manager because I was put on hold, but I was approved for the shipping after about a minute.
I was told 3-5 bizz days. But I pc'd my Sapphire Preferred to Reserve, was not from a cold app.
