Last Thursday I applied for a Blue Cash Preferred card and was approved $2,000 credit limit, and I believe a 20.99% apr. The high APR does not bother me as I plan on PIF every month.
I received the card yesterday and activated it, I can't wait until our first trip to the grocery store.
As of early last week:
Experian 745
Transunion 775
Equifax 708
My FICO score that came with the card is 711. I currently have two other cards, a US Bank Platinum with a balance of $5,000 on a CL of $10,000, and a Chase Freedom card with no balance on a CL of $7,100. I also have a $0 balance on CNFA Firestone account with a limit of $2,200. Over the next few months my plan is to pay down my outstanding balance, request a 3x CLI on the BCP, and to either try to do a PC on the US Bank Platinum to a cash plus card or apply for a Capital One Quicksilver card.
One question that I have, and I have searched and only found contradictory information, is when do I apply for my 3x CLI? On my online account it states "Recent Charges $0.00 Since March 27", if this is the date it would be May 27th. If it goes from my activation date it would be May 31.

Congrats on your card! AFAIK, your 3x CLI is from your account open date. So it's 61days after your account opening date(approval date) and 6months after that (if your 3x CLI is approved), if denied then it's 90days after your denial date.
congrats
Congrats! Welcome to the forum and thanks for sharing.
Thanks everyone!
I have been reading the boards for the last few days and one of the things that stuck out was how often the advice of "just give them a call" was given. Today I decided to give US Bank a call and ask about PCing my Platinum card to a Cash+ card, the rep was very friendly and said she would check, and in about 10 seconds said that was something they could do. I will keep my same APR and $10,000 Cl, and the card should be here in about a week. I have a US Bank mortgage so it is time to open a gold checking account for another 0.25% cash back on the 1% standard.
Thanks again for the great forum!
